As a cat owner, I doubt it will come as any surprise to you that our feline friends are generally fussy eaters.

Of course, this is because they have clever inbuilt controls which prevent them from eating anything that isn’t perfectly fresh and therefore might be bad for them.

Cats will often turn their nose up at treats and we don’t blame them, have you looked at what cat treats are generally made of? What exactly is Chicken by-product meal anyway? Whatever it is we don’t want to eat and don’t want to feed it to our cats either.

Ideally we’d like to prepare the freshest cuts of their favourite meat or fish and cut it into small pieces for them. Whilst our cats do expect us to go to extraordinary lengths to pander to their every need, we suspect that like us, you don’t really have time to do this every day.

We sourced the freshest cuts of meat and fish and gently freeze dried them to lock in the nutrients and intense flavour. Freeze drying preserves the food without the need of additives; if desired you can even rehydrate the treats with a little water and see them return to their original state.

If you have ever eaten a freeze dried strawberry you will know how intense the flavour is, which is why you won’t see any “flavours” on our ingredients list; only 100% Chicken, or 100% Tuna, or 100% White Fish or 100% Prawn.

Tuna has a distinctive fragrance which you may or may not have noticed before due to most tuna being canned in oil or brine. This aroma is completely natural and can be reduced by rehydrating the individual treats with a little water if desired before feeding.
